I was so excited to post these photos! Kendall was a joy to photograph. She is intellegent and well-spoken, not to mention drop dead gorgeous. We started our photo shoot at the unique Seattle Central Library and then headed to the piers on the water in downtown Seattle. We had a blast!

Kendall is definitely going places in this world and I am proud that I was able to be her photographer for her senior portraits :)

I loved photographing Nerys! She is totally stylish, sweet, and gorgeous all wrapped up into one. It was a warm sunny day and we went to the beach near Golden Gardens with an awesome vintage chair as a prop. I just swoon over vintage props! We had a lot of fun :)

Oh, how I love the Riley's! Lis and Russ are the kind of parents I want to be. Watching them with Brynn and Cate makes my heart swell :) We headed to the Greenbelt in Austin for our photo shoot. Lis and Russ were mostly wanting photos of the girls, but I forced them into a few photos. I mean, look how gorgeous they are...I couldn't leave them out! The girls are full of energy and had tons of fun running and climbing and jumping. What a fun time we had in the gorgeous sunshine!

We also did a few shots in the front yard of their awesome Austin home. Brynn loves music and strums around on the ukulele and the guitar and I was able to get her in action :)

During a photo shoot I often have a song stuck in my head. While photographing Sandy, I couldn't stop humming the song Candy by Martin Sexton. The main chorus line is "Candyyyyyyyy-aaaaaaaaayyyyyyy, she's so fine", but of course, in my head I was singing, "Sandyyyyyyy-aaaaaaayyyyyy, she's so fine"!

I mean, Sandy could easily be a model. She has that natural ability to strike a pose on cue and she looks fabulous while doing it. The shooting conditions were less then ideal...it was pouring rain, the lighting was bad, and it was freezing, but somehow we came up with some amazing shots! I had some awesome outdoor spots picked out, but because of the rain, we ended up in my family room, in a laundry mat, and under an awning at a burger joint!

Not only is Kianna totally gorgeous, but she is also extremely well-spoken and intelligent. I was very impressed by her! She's not quite a senior yet, but it's never too early to have beautiful portraits taken :)

We started in Georgetown at some of my favorite little hidden spots and then headed to Golden Gardens for a chilly beach session.

Domina and Ryan wanted to do their engagement portrait session in Georgetown and I'm so glad they chose that area. There were so many awesome urban backgrounds to choose from! We had all sorts of weather...it was rainy, sunny, cloudy, sunny and rainy at the same time, then cloudy again and so on. We made it work, though :) They had two looks. One was formal and one casual. These two have some serious style :) Not only are Domina and Ryan a gorgeous couple, but they are also very playful with each other, which made for some really fun photos. They fell in love 6 years ago and are so excited to tie the knot in July. We had so much fun during this session that I can only imagine how much fun their wedding will be. I can't wait!

Kerry & Daniel are engaged! It was so obvious to me during the photo shoot that these two adore each other. Like, REALLY adore each other. It was very refreshing to hang out with these love birds :) We decided to take the photos where they had their first date--at the Glass Museum in Tacoma and at a beach a few miles from the museum. I had no idea this museum existed and I'm so glad they introduced it to me. What a cool place!

Kerry & Daniel are both such gentle, sweet people and I feel honored to not only photograph their engagement session, but also to be their photographer at their July wedding. Congratulations, Kerry & Daniel!

It's a good thing Brenda is so nonjudgemental and chill because I probably made a complete idiot of myself during our photo shoot today! I couldn't stop squealing and jumping up and down about how gorgeous Brenda, Will (the horse), and the sunlight were. Seriously. Squealing.

Brenda, thank you for being so awesome and beautiful and, Will, thank you for being such a ham. This was one of the most fun times I have ever had with a camera!

When Hawa contacted me about taking photos of her and her husband Blake, she said they would like to include their 2 cats "if that is okay". Anyone who knows me will understand how happy this made me and that it was more than okay! I totally adore purring, furry, feisty felines and I often think of my precious Sam, Sara, and Sabby (RIP). No more cats for me with the hubs being so allergic :(

We decided to do the photo shoot at lush Lincoln Park in West Seattle and, luckily, the rain held off. Hawa and Blake were great sports when I told them there was a bit of a hike involved to get down to the water :) They had the cats cozied up in carriers as we made our way down. If you know the personality that cats generally have, you can imagine how they responded to being outdoors in a random place while being held still for photos. I'm going to have to ask Hawa and Blake how many claw marks they have under their shirts! The kitties really did  great, though, and I got some beautiful shots of them.

Hawa and Blake are just so cool! They are so easy to talk to and were naturals in front of the camera. It was an absolute pleasure photographing this beautiful couple and their little fur-balls.

The second location for Sarah and Jacob's engagement photos had a more modern theme (to check out the vintage shoot we did the day before, click HERE). We were lucky to have some sunshine for part of the time and they didn't have to totally freeze today! Once again, Sarah and Jacob rocked the camera and I had so much fun capturing their amazing connection!
